Install PhanOS
1. Add the PhanOS installer
Section titled “1. Add the PhanOS installer”claude mcp add llmdhub -- npx -y @llmdhub/mcpYou need Node.js 20.10 or newer. The installer runs on your computer; it only talks to phanos.eu.
2. Sign in
Section titled “2. Sign in”Every install needs a PhanOS account, Basic included. Ask Claude to run phanos_login. It shows a link and a code such as WDJB-MJHT. Open the link, check the code matches, and choose Connect this device. No password is typed into the terminal.
3. Install
Section titled “3. Install”Ask Claude to run phanos_install. Your account decides what is installed: PhanOS Pro when your plan includes it (trial and beta too), otherwise PhanOS Basic.
The installer checks the package signature against our offline signing key and the file’s checksum before writing a single file, then installs PhanOS under ~/.llmdhub/marketplaces/. Pro registers as the plugin phanos@llmdhub-pro, Basic as phanos@llmdhub-basic. With Pro, Basic is installed beside it and stays switched off.
If the claude command is not on your PATH, the tool prints the commands to run yourself.
4. Start a new Claude Code session
Section titled “4. Start a new Claude Code session”PhanOS loads in the next session. The tool’s answer ends with the same reminder.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”Ask Claude to run phanos_update, then start a new Claude Code session. Your Pro token renews itself when you use phanos_status, or when Claude Code starts.
Devices
Section titled “Devices”Pro includes 5 devices. See and remove them at your account, or run phanos_logout on the device you are leaving. PhanOS Basic needs only the sign-in and uses no device.
